Do You Ever Start A Thread Just To Make A Discussion?

I was discussing discussions with my friend Rotally Teal, who thinks I am awesome, and he said that people that randomly discuss things just to discuss them are smarter than average people. I wonder if discussions came from the word discus, since they go round and round. Which was a great song about round things.

I was at the store the other day and overheard 2 ladies who were my friends with Scottish accents discussing wine. I didn’t even know Scotland had wine. Do you think someone named Scott founded Scotland? Because that would be something Scott would do. Probably Scott Bakula. I wonder if he ever dressed up as Dracula as a kid. You never hear about Scottish vampires.

Do you think wainscotting comes from Scotland? What’s a wain anyway? I knew a Wayne in school and he always wanted to hang out in my van and I would make jokes from Wayne’s World. That movie was excellent. Whatever happened to Garth? I bet he got confused with Garth Brooks. That would be a cool band. Did you know I had a band once called Wheely Awesome?

Everyone loved us. Anyway, so I was discussing things that were disgusting with my gardener Gus and he said that roaches are gross but they will survive the apocalypse so we better get used to them.

As you may know, I have been very impressed with the sincerity of your posts and that I look forward to each new post with much interest.

I would like to give you a gift.

Several years back, Ms. Shank and I purchased a Swarovski nativity. When she left me, I was allowed to keep the set, since it had great personal importance. Last year, I stumbled on a second set at an estate sale from a family in Bastrop, which is where the farm implement dealer I prefer to use is located. I foolishly made a bid, that was accepted and now I have two of them. I would like to give you one, if you will let me know where I could ship it.



They are quite rare now, no longer in production, but I have no use for two.

Sorry for the delay in attaching the photo - pretty aren't they? I had problems adding the photo. My eyes seem to mist up whenever I mention MS. Shank and I had trouble getting the mechanics straight to attach it.
