The US is like 78% white.
They’re doing perfectly fine. But we all know when they say “diversity” they just mean they need like half the school minorities. They should just lower the standards more for nonwhites to make that happen.

Tulane's goal is to get on the level of thise schools. Attracting the top candidates from varying races is part of that. Diversity doesnt have to mean letting anyone of a different race in. They want those other races that meet their standard
You understand.
It’s sad how poorly they think of minorities.

I did not flunk out of Tulane. I had an A average and by the time my first year at Tulane was complete I had taken a grad level history course, 8 hours of physics, 8 hours of orgo, 8 hours of gen chem, genetics, biochem x2 including the dreaded one taught by Ensley
Lol you’re so full of shite

This is what makes Tulane special and an incredible experience. My good friends from school span almost every major city in the US.

The mark of a great group of friends isn’t their character but rather that they came from different states

I try not to get into Tulane bashing, because yes it is good for New Orleans, and because so many in my family went there, not to mention I grew up near the school.
But there is no denying it's full of rich kids from the Northeast who didn't get into their top choices and just want to come down here to party as consolation. These kids are strange and many are obnoxious. I live near them, and observe them in the coffee shops, restaurants, and bars.
When my parents and grandparents went to Tulane it was an SEC school with Southern students and, while it was a good school academically, student life revolved around football games and Greek life. Those days are long gone. Students don't go to the games now, hell many of them don't even take advantage of Mardi Gras, and they dress and act pretty weird. Just an honest observation from an old uptown snob.

Part of the reason for the increase is they don’t charge a fee via the Common App. My daughter had no intention of going there but applied anyway just because it was free.

That’s out of whack with the number of whites in the nation, so actually minorities are over represented, and any way who gives a frick? These progs are sick maniacs obsessed with skin color.

College kids want to live in New Orleans. Really hard to believe

UNO isn’t exactly booming

Perhaps they should sunset these data based on the number of Jewish Caucasian students.

You support my point about Tulane getting back to what it once was.
