1099 workers do pay payroll (i.e., FICA) taxes. They pay the employer share and the employee share.

That makes it seem mutual as well as pointing out that Pelosi and the guy Trump sent in his place have a history of deals and can probably work faster than she and Trump would. It seems like a good idea all around, but we have to somehow bash Trump for it.

Obama exposed his economic ignorance when he did the stimulus package. Trump is letting people keep their money to boost the economy. Reagan-omics works, regardless of what ignorant Dems say.

No problem. Most 1099 people write off everything in their life (can I turn this family vacation into a business expense - sure I can!) and basically make it look like they make no profit or even lose money so their income tax liability is low enough to offset the fact that their FICA tax is twice what a W-2 worker would be be (since they pay the employer half and the employee half).
