You are correct. This happened at the worst possible time. Many areas (ironically in the same states with such heavy restrictions) have seen massive increased unemployment.

False. It wasn't like most of the looters and arsonists had jobs to start with. 2nd, the looters and rioters never locked down. That's not their mentality. Worrying about dying or killing their grandmother with COVID never crossed their midget minds.

The 'event' could have happened at any time, any city, under no pandemic etc and brought out the same rage, IMO. I doubt Chauvin was bored from the pandemic and just wanted to kill a man.

Idleness due to reduced work/school loads led to increased online time such as social media which helped compound this.
