Between it being 90 days, the Paid Status (EEO rules) and the previously offered "personal reasons" I am going to jump out on a limb and guess it was in-patient substance abuse treatment. Nothing else even makes a remote bit of sense.
I have no earthly idea why she was gone and certainly am not suggesting any particular reason is true or more likely than any other, but there are other possible explanations besides substance abuse treatment for a judge being absent for 90 days. Among them are illness, vacation or even suspension for judicial misconduct.

News media was on hand because of the veto override and informed Greg that Judge White was present. He came with a separate cameraman and as Judge White walked out of the Chamber he began to question her as she tried to leave. She did not respond to Greg. She instead turned around and came back to the council chamber. Greg then began to stalk Judge White. The judge had already walked away from Greg, he insisted on staying there to, at this point, harass Judge White in my opinion. As a black man and the owner of a media platform, I then asked Greg to leave the judge be. He then shushed me. Which let me know he couldn’t be reasoned with.
This guy may be the most ignorant yet arrogant a-hole I have ever seen. He's upset at a journalist doing his job.

Vacation? For 90 days straight? And keeping it a big secret? I don't think so.
Suspension for Judicial Misconduct? That would be public record. Not that either.
Illness? Maybe... But I don't see that one being kept a big secret.
I said before that I was making a guess but, based on having seen this type of hush-hush work absences before, it was usually in-patient treatment.

Not necessarily. Some judicial discipline is imposed privately.

Not talking about it publicly isn't the same as keeping it a secret. Judges do get generous vacation time as well as unlimited time off for illness or official things like seminars, etc. It's not that unusual for a judge to be out for months at a time.

Why do you keep talking about keeping a big secret just because she hasn't publicly announced it? The rant doesn't know where you went on vacation last year. Are you keeping it a big secret? No, you just haven't talked about it here. So what?

I can think of a few others over in the 19th.

Well I am not an elected official and the media hasn't been actively trying to find out where I have been. They have been trying to find out where she went so, yes, I would say it is a big secret. Hell, I know people who work at 19th JDC and they don't know where she went.
Quit being coy. It's not like she went to Aruba for 3 months. Something is up.
