Looks like Tropical Tidbits forecast model has another hurricane spawning in almost the same spot as Rafael did, next week….has it getting to 942mb at its peak and then going into Florida.

Crazy end of the hurricane season. Not sure how accurate the next one is, but they have it forming in 3-5 days

Why is Rafael expected to weaken if he stays in the southern half of the gulf?

Shear is favorable there, just not in the northern half




Also why wouldn’t this front pull the storm NE with it?
