How could ANYONE like that guy?
First of all he comes off as a little creepy and kinda rapey. His voice is concerning. Above that, he's disheveled as frick. Like dude, you're about to be filmed for a national TV commercial, do you not have mirror access? In one he's wearing like an olive shirt and jeans and he's not even wearing a got damn belt.

He is from Houston and the disheveled look was a joke. Wardrobe messed up, didn't have a belt that fit, so they just went with it.
