OK, the greenpeacers of the world say they want to get rid of gas/diesel vehicles....because they are killing us....
So, electric cars needs batteries, and millions of them, right? Now, these attention-hungry environmental a-holes are putting up another fight over mining of the must-have Nickel and Cobalt on the ocean floor, 2 miles deep, where there are massive deposits of these minerals and more.
Maybe we should start walking everywhere in loin cloths, because electric cars are now unhealthy!

Luddites appear to be a universal human phenomenon, and they go back at least several centuries in the west.

Environmentalists would have us return to caves and going back in time.

“Environmentalist” often mean trust fund baby and/or too damn sorry to wash their arse regularly. Spent 30 years working in conservation - I know these people. Earth worshippers they are - it’s their religion. Also hypocrites- at the end of the day, they like-a-da juice as in lectricity....these people would fare the worst should we actually return to the caves. Frick them and their Subarus.

It can't be stressed well enough how the aversion to nuclear power over the past 50 years will be looked upon as one of the worst decisions we have ever made.
