Travel Ball Tournament Alcohol Sales vs. Alex Box Alcohol Sales

Which one sells more over the course of a weekend? My money is on Travel Ball Tournament, especially when Little Jimmy makes the tournament championship and a ring is on the line. Gotta get that 15th Bud Light to make sure to harass the umpire for the fourth game in the last 10 hours.

You seem to know your baseball.

They sell beer at travel ball tournaments now?

Trick question, the gas station closest to the ballpark has the most alcohol sales so the baws can leave their beers on ice in their yeti back in the car and go get a few beers between half innings.

Florida, Texas, some Louisiana tournaments for sure. They usually have a "limit" but it's pretty much a free for all

Travel ball threads are so fricking stupid

At a couple parks yes. But I’ve never seen it be a problem at them.

It’s up to the park. But yes how do you think they pay for those turf fields?

Youngsville park sells long island ice teas

Wow, it’s been 15 years since my kid played travel ball, and I don’t think I ever attended a tournament that sold beer then. I’m not saying it’s wrong, just was not aware of the change.

It's crazy. Went to a buddy's nephew's games and there were a ton of people with open containers. Had taps in the concession stand. Crazy

I respect your lifestyle choices
Grown man 1: hey. Want to hit a ball game?
Grown man 2: sure, but where at?
#1: oh, it is over at the travel ball tournament
#2:. Your kid is playing? Sure. I guess I will check it out
#1:. Naaa, fam. It is a tourney for my nephew. Come on let's go. I'll make it worth your while.
#2:. Hells yeah. Count me in!!

Hanging out at a travel ball tournament and getting drunk sounds fricking miserable

I was so happy when my kids no longer played travel ball.Especially my daughter's softball days.
All day sitting in the scorching heat and into the night, motel rooms then finally getting home then get up the next morning for work.
It was more like torture.

I’m right there with you. After a few seasons of the constant squabbling and expense, along with my son not being enthusiastic about it anymore, I said enough of this. It was such a relief.
