I recently saw a gofundme asking for marathon entry fee and expenses. What say the OT, trashy or smart?

Trashy would be to ask for entry into a lawnmower race or eating contest. Asking for it for a marathon just seems smart... if people want to use their money for that.

Unless there is an interesting story attached like someone traveling from Kenya, I think this one is just considered poor.

i’m more of a golfer than a runner, may have to try this for the Masters if the guy reaches his goal.
