I was pretty much suggesting to actually go talk to the owner of the house the dog was outside of.. which is more than likely the owner of the dog to see why he has a pitbull outside with the potential to roam free.

If they are straight up assholes then call the law (which would probably be a waste of time, but its illegal and they were assholes so frick them).. Or animal control. Is someone that unaware that they need to ask people on a message board how to handle this?
