Don’t worry, that sucks too. It’s a different kind of suck and possibly the least sucky, but still can suck.

For sure, not as much as working for other people though.

Me too, but at you. She has a mid-range six figure salary that ascends.

Simply for flexibility. I can choose which jobs I take, and I wouldn't want more than 20 jobs/week.

It's Thanksgiving and I'm very thankful for that.

Everyone always thinks the grass is greener. I went from the field to a job that spends more time in the office and I can tell you they both have pros and cons. Being in the office is less physically draining but way more mentally draining.

I’m fortunate now that when I get tired of the office I can still get out and go out in the field for fresh air and clarity.

This is my ideal job. Part office and part out and about.

Everybody always says this but those dudes always seem to work 7 days/12 hours a day from my experience.

That would be nice. I’m basically glued to a desk now. I miss getting out a bit, traveling, and visiting clients

I’ve worked both. The office job was wayyyyyy more relaxed and I was a project manager for a Fortune 500 company overseeing New York. I didn’t do shite half the day if we’re being honest and most did even less.

Me too brother. Most I get to do is walk to the back of the building and shoot the shite with the shop guys for a bit.

sounds like you’re concerned their experience in the field, mixed with a little effort, would make you expendable.

I had both office jobs can be unrewarding (mentally to me) and much easier.

Probably taking an office gig from field work in next week

Though there was also a stretch of 5 years where I traveled 4-5 times a month. That got annoying too. So much airport time.

Did get me to 46 out of the 50 states. Once volunteered for an Oklahoma trip solely because I had never been there. Yes, I’m that dorky. Lol

Seems trashy having a job that has field and office workers

He probably would do your job better, just saying.

A lot of my coworkers are complete idiots. I rather get a Baw out the field and show him a few things. They also work harder.

frick that.

I’ll let someone else absorb all the risk. I just want my checks to be enough to comfortably live and to be able to leave the bullshite behind when I clock out.

I have absolutely zero desire to own my own company.

you act like this is hard. Why would you need it updated when finance puts all that information out there with a monthly P&L statement that includes amortizations and a competent erp program does the other one for you
