And we’re reading this account because there’s a reaffirming article written about him and his bravery. Even more than that, he obviously found multiple levels of acceptance and friendship considering he was voted into the court by his peers. Needless to say, his life has not been ruined, and he has lost no discernible freedoms or inalienable rights.

Contrast this with one involving opposite political ideology. Instead of a dress, imagine a boy in Portland, DC, Atlanta, or any other far left enclave wanting to go to homecoming decked out in his MAGA gear. No doubt the principal would make sure there was extra security for him. A blue hair would be more than happy to parade him around on top of their prius. The local paper would write a glowing article detailing his bravery and how wonderful it is that he’s saying “frick you to all the haters”.

Would that ever happen?? No, of course not. And MAGA boy’s life would be ruined for trying it, and anyone who aided him—car driver, kids who voted for him, principal promising security, journalist who “humanized” him— would all be sent to the moral gulags, never to work or live comfortably in that town again. Tell me I’m wrong. But in mean old scary stupid arse backwards intolerant racist south LA, it’s live and let live for him, his friends, family, and supporters.

Remind me who the intolerant ones are again? If you have a differing opinion or lifestyle to the majority, you are much more accepted and tolerated in conservative suburbia.

Man I don’t wish you any personal ill will. I think you should be free to dress however you like. If wearing a dress makes you feel better and you aren’t doing it around kids, and somehow your wife is okay with it, that’s freedom man.

I’ve talked about my apprehension with trans youth and sports several times and have made my points here.


There are places where many of us are vocal about this stuff and against the full-on acceptance and informed consent models. John Q OT’r never sees that stuff.
