You won't be going on the cool trails out west in that setup. Our rooftop tent on the 4runner really cuts down on the trails we can explore. Comfort is a trade off.

As recently as 2019, a nice rig like that, or a Class B van, could be had for under $100k .. if something like that were made in the 1990s it would be south of $50k .

It's a throwback to the old Toyota Sunrader from the mid to late 80's. Those versions actually had dual rear wheels. Powered by a 22R with a 4 speed. Was a slug, but in the 70's and 80's a lot of class C manufacturers used the 22R powerplant because of how reliable it was in a time where 100k miles was seen as obscene from a powerplant without an overhaul.

Nearly every person walking around at that trade show was wearing a mask.

Looks like this is 3-years old. That's not an excuse for weird behavior though.
