like 90% of the people in this thread use whatever app is on their phone...and really don't pay attention to shite

Everybody at work is bitching about how this is nothing and saying it will be rained out by the time it gets here

Anything that trains north and doesn’t move gives me ptsd. I’m still scared of this thing.

Also, I’m really angry that I believed my silly phone app about rain early and slept in. Should’ve woken up early to ride in a dry ring for one more day.

100%. I don't know shite about frick, but I come to places like here, storm chasers, mets, NWS on Twitter, etc to see it from people who do. It's not hard to find more specific information.

most of the people bitching because it hasn't gotten bad enough must not have shite to lose.

i remember hoping for hurricanes so, we would get out of school. That changed when i started having shite to lose.

we need an admin to ban anyone who talks about the fricking schools closing in here. Let them back when the storms pass

Those weather apps use NWS radar data for rainfall timing and probabilities and are very bad for areas in radar gaps like Baton Rouge is.

You can't be serious with this. Also today was already a half day, dismissal would have started 12:30/45. Which is around the time storm hits.

It is what it is.....
