Hell, you may have a shot at having to deal with Winter weather going and coming with that time frame.

Yeah, I'll be happy to spend time and Christmas with my kids but will also be happy to get home to warm weather. Damn, I'm old!

And he probably needs to put disclaimers and warnings before and after the forecast that it's not set in stone how this will actually turn out. Seems we always have a lot of nimrods in these weather threads that don't quite understand these kind of situations, especially when it comes to winter weather.
