Always happens in the middle of the night. My phone was on silent and do not disturb and (thankfully) still started blaring with the warning

More pics from the Monette Manor nursing home near Jonesboro tonight. Officials now say one person died here, not two. Five are injured.

I think the Kentucky gov is already estimating 70 deaths? This is horrible. I hate to see the actual numbers when everything clears up. This whole thing is so historic and awful.

Louisville station said 50 deaths but that was about an hour ago
Prayers to everybody.
Prayers to everybody.

Northwest Williamson county checking in.
No power. Tree fell on house across the street 2 down. 2 fire trucks and emergency tow truck trying to get in the house.
I don't know that neighbor but I hope he's ok.

Read earlier that tornado tracked for at least 235 miles, which would be the longest track ever recorded.

The one that started this touched down in Arkansas and came all the way up here, on the ground, to Elizabethtown before it disappated they say.
2 miles wide. And well over 200 miles.
Western Kentucky is absolutely devestated this morning.
Governor Beshear has dispatched the National Guard. Louisville and Lexington are sending EMTs out there right now.
