@spann
1m
We expect storm initiation within the next 30-60 minutes as the dry line, now near the AL/MS line, moves eastward.

I haven't wondered outside to look but I'm sure where Main St. bottoms out a couple blocks from campus is already a river again

I'd read earlier in the thread that these may ultimately be even worse than the ongoing storms. Anybody know if that is still looking like the case?

Are you one of those old people that troll meteorologists on their Facebook page every time the forecast isn't exactly right? Because that's what I'm getting from your posts in this thread.

He's miserable. I'll never understand folks like this.

ETA - He's pissed Spann missed Snowmaggedon while also being pissed when an event is a bust.

Not at all. Just trying to be a voice of reason amongst all the fear mongering.

They, particularly Spann, started hyping this up on Monday that it was going to be soo bad, but it hasn't been close to that.

Johnston in Edgefield County, SC under a State of Emergency due to "extreme tornado damage."

No flights are being allowed to land in Atlanta, Augusta and Columbia and are being diverted.

Worst, they are saying, is still to come.

ETA: Tornado warning in Lexington County, SC headed towards Richland County (Columbia) issued as well.
