Everybody in Mamou (population 3000) has multiple guns, considerably more than 400. Furthermore, people in Mamou are not afraid to use said guns. Good luck.

It'll get ugly if they try to get violent. The vast majority of this nation wants the Black Panthers dead right now and they'll get their wish if these morons try to start shite in Mamou.

The good folks of Mamou need to dress up in their crazy/creepy Mardi Gras costumes and slowly emerge and surround a gathering of the BP's from afar. Like something out of a horror movie.

I am all for them or anyone else exercising their right to open carry in Louisiana. However, sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. I have many constitutional rights but that does not excuse me from the responsibility to exercise these rights in a prudent manner. If I choose to exercise my rights then I better be prepared for the consequences. For example, if I exercise my right to free speech advocating for an extremist position and I am ostracized or even fired for it then that represents predictable consequences. If these folks choose to inflame an already tense situation then the consequences are also predictable. I support their right to do it, I suggest they don't due to the current tensions.

Could you imagine random people dressed like that just popping out of the crowds all around you about 150 yds away and just standing there staring at you? I'd be freaking out.

I have it on pretty good authority that this march is not gonna happen, at least not legally, due to what you just mentioned. The climate is too hot right now.
