Bocage is probably the cheapest decent neighborhood in the city.
But the statement on price is true. A good reason why the burbs and north shore are so popular.

Young professionals are still moving into the city but at a slower rate. The city needs to get this crime wave under control soon or gentrification will stop.

I could agree with this, but I'm just shocked at the amount of young families I see moving into New Orleans. At least in the uptown areas.

The current mayor has already checked out. All he is worried about is positioning himself for his next political office. That's why he's spending time in places like Cuba. What can he be doing in Cuba that could possible help New Orleans problems ?

I can't even try and explain it anymore. The amount of money pouring into Nola is mind blowing. Someone, not named bubba sees something great about the city.

Your Nola housing bubble will be popping very soon. Enjoy.

I have lived in the city most of my adult life and have never been a victim of any crime and don't personally know anybody who has ..

I have never felt threatened - ever - in the city ... this whole thing is very overblown ... It's getting to be comical ..

I have lived here my whole adult life and never been a victim of any type of cancer and don't personally know anyone who has.

I've never felt threatened by cancer in this city- ever. The whole thing is overblown. This cancer thing is comical.
