New Orleans is bad, but there are at least several other cities in this country that are just as bad on a per capita basis.

this is why every vehicle I drive has my phone number all over it, ain't no one going to car jack it. Plus I have two cameras and my own version of Lojack.
But secretly I would love to be carjacked. I would get a lot more for my truck that way.

The crime issue makes me sad. NOLA is where I grew up. Hate to see it like this.

you put your number all over your vehicle just so it wont get jacked?

In growing up in New Orleans a city that has taught me how to watch my arse anywhere, and there is not a city I have ever visited that New Orleans did not prepare me for.

Don't worry, sooner or later one of these dudes will get brazen from their successes and throw a bag of chips in someone's face
then one of our good guys with a gun will take him out.

I hear it all the time from Hipsters who live in Downtown St.Louis. There is never crime in the city, lol
At least in St. Louis the boundaries are relatively well defined between nice areas and bad areas. In New Orleans it is more on a block to block basis, and the tourist areas make for easy targets late at night.

Per capita is a useless statistic. NOLA is horrible and anybody that says otherwise is just covering up for their beloved shithole of a hometown.

Just a guess, but he might be talking about service/delivery vehicles.
Can you imagine stealing Lee's truck?

I :Kige : you that crime right now is horrible, it's unacceptable for anyone to be content with this rate. We need to throw everything we can at it. Just turning it over to the pieces of shite isn't an option.

I do think that taking a select few individuals off he streets and KEEPING them off the street could potentially put a yuge dent in the actual violent crime..... Property and drug crime is a seperate story.

Well the solution is obvious: Kill all 13 to 18 yr old teens. Problem solved.
