I do freight brokerage and IT, I hate being an a-hole, but a lot of times, the people bring that shite on themselves. So that's how I manage that.

My uncle had a job that required him to be the axe man when there were firings or layoffs to be done. They'd bring him in from out of town to break the news. I don't know how he handled it. I couldn't.

Sometimes being an a-hole is the only way to light a fire under someone.

Yep. Never bring your stress home. Also, you don't need to be friends with people in your profession. You have your friends for that.

Yeah, but I have at worst very small manageable guilt about people i am not close with, but when it's people you care about...it's pretty stressful. I had a panic attack for the first time in years.

so do I but the only people I have to be an a-hole to are truck drivers. That doesn't make me feel bad at all, it actually makes me feel better. Truck drivers are mostly stupid, greedy assholes

What area do you operate and what kind of Freight do you ship? I'd love to make a bid on your lanes
