I do freight brokerage and IT, I hate being an a-hole, but a lot of times, the people bring that shite on themselves. So that's how I manage that.

My uncle had a job that required him to be the axe man when there were firings or layoffs to be done. They'd bring him in from out of town to break the news. I don't know how he handled it. I couldn't.

Nothing wrong with some drinks to take the edge off.

I should say I don't like being a shithead to shipping brokers, but shite rolls down hill and I want them to push like I would push
Hope you're not my shipping broker George, whoops

Sometimes being an a-hole is the only way to light a fire under someone.

I work with John q. Public. He doesn't listen so I have to be direct.

Yep. Never bring your stress home. Also, you don't need to be friends with people in your profession. You have your friends for that.

Yeah, but I have at worst very small manageable guilt about people i am not close with, but when it's people you care about...it's pretty stressful. I had a panic attack for the first time in years.

so do I but the only people I have to be an a-hole to are truck drivers. That doesn't make me feel bad at all, it actually makes me feel better. Truck drivers are mostly stupid, greedy assholes
