Astronomy (my wife thinks I only have five telescopes); ham radio, driving my 2003 Porsche 911 through the backroads of North Texas, writing trashy novels, traveling with the wife, spending too much time on Tigerdroppings.

To the OP:
I have a lot of hobbies but it is easier with no kids left in the house. That said I have always had hobbies either my son and or my wife also liked. I don't mind doing my hobbies alone but I don't crave it, I always like to share them with someone. The hobby that takes the most time (cycling) is something my wife also has a passion for.

They come on handy for sure. We have one in our home office. My daughter prints all kinds of stuff. I'll have her print brackets and such for my various tools in the garage. Example, she'll print stuff like this for me:

Restoring old metal matching equipment. No kids though. The Lord figured one of me is enough.

I like to create and weld things up that I need. One example below is the yellow table I made for my cutoff saw and my drill. I'll also make cattle oiler rubs and gates etc stuff you need around a cattle ranch.

I have raised and ran/hunted beagles for fifty plus years, as a hobby. My wife and I reared two boys, paid for their college education. Engineering and Computer science. They were in soccer and baseball as kids, as well as scouting for a time.

Running, cycling. But if you're looking for a hobby that can fit a busy schedule I would suggest online chess. Play/study at night when the kids go to bed.
