A female friend that took her kids said it's a male-bashing movie, definitely agenda driven.
my 20 year old daughter was trying to explain this to the 7 year old daughter

Or you could just have fun with nostalgia and horses. I really don’t see why this board is melting as if there aren’t movies that objectify women. I left the theater not hating men any more or less than I did walking in

I was super excited to see peaches and cream Barbie. She was always my favorite.

Right?

Who would’ve thought the horror movie girl would be defending Barbie.

Read that the movie is like if the people who made the Mario Bros movie absolutely hated Mario and blamed him for everything wrong in the world

We went to the Multiplex theater in Pearl this afternoon to see the Indiana Jones movie. I was somewhat shocked to see the gown women in all pink dresses, or pink Barbie T-shirts, pink sneakers, pink shorts, or pink pants. All of them were lined up to see Barbie. Saw a few guys in all pink too.

There’s nothing really bad in it but she may not get all the jokes.

It’s not very long either, so that’s good.

Lots of horses

I’m also the wrong person to ask because my parents didn’t care what I watched/read so I was already watching R movies at that point

The girls were turning out in pink wigs and clothing tonight. Kinda like people do for Star Wars. They seem like they were having a good time.

Good for them.

We saw Oppenheimer.

I don't think it's a chick flick

Edit: my wife told me it wasn't

My gf took my three daughters and a niece to eat sushi and see Barbi tonight.
They left me at home and I'm full of FOMO.

I just ate boring chicken and brussels sprouts and watched that animated A-Bomb Youtube from another thread.
