They are here in parts of Georgia. Buying houses site unseen and paying $100,000 more than what houses were going for just a year or 2 ago. It's driving up the cost of land and homes here.

It can still be underrated and dying. A lot of those towns look to be old rust belt towns.


Pittsburgh has been doing a great job redeveloping its economy and the city as a whole. Tourism employs 11k people. They have major employers in the Higher-ed and banking industries. They are also a major player in Health care

If you read the linked article, many of those cities are seeing prices drop because of many new and smaller homes being built. The price per/ s.f. hasn't dropped.

This is false. Tulsa county was one of the few in the entire state that was solid blue.
