Yeah, once I was having a bunch of people over and was getting a spread of stuff to pick up. I ordered several boxes of catfish. I was expecting filets. Little did I know, they fricking sell the empty carcass of a catfish, battered and deep fried.
I get home, and open up boxes of fish bones, deed fried. Wtf? I later found out that there is a group of people that don't want to pay full price for fried catfish, and for a fraction of the price, buy boxes of fried carcasses to chew on.
That was called the bone box and they were $2.00 and damn good. They don't do those anymore but I got them all the time. Lotta meat left on that bone.

They can only sell cold seafood for EBT purchases?
The corner store near my house sells chicken raw for EBT and will fry it for free.

not happy about it but you cannot make a business stop offering a service to its customers for free even if it looks shady as frick.

You're kidding right? What do you think the sign was called before Twitter was invented?
How the frick am I supposed to know? That was ages ago.
Twitter started about 10 years ago. So I'm gonna assume you are either 9, over 65, or have been living in a cave if you didn't know that # means pound. I think you are just trolling tho

how is it a misuse of benefits if the company is offering the service of heating the food up for free?

But what if you really, really like the food?
Posted on 12/1/16 at 3:38 pm to meauxjeaux2
It isn't. I have no problem with frying chicken for free but I do think it's ridiculous that boiled crawfish can be bought with an EBT card

Any prepared food needs to be sold cold.
