Here's something I don't get about these "anti-vaxx" people. Do they not realize diseases like Meningitis use to kill thousands every year and was a virtual death sentence to most everyone who contracted it while today it's very rare and very treatable thanks to modern medicine?

No, but that's because they're morons.

You are, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the angriest person on this site.

These people didn't "let their child die". They tried to treat the illness with holistic medicine.

Should you go to jail for child abuse for spanking your child?

Why? Because I belive that parents own their child and not the state? I suppose you're ok with the state coming in and taking your child because you raise them in a way the state disagrees with?

So people who sexually assault their kids should be able to do so?

You're an idiot.

If the spanking crosses the line into beating them to death, then yes.

Yea, but some quack researcher said that there's a 1 in a million chance that the treatment could cause autism. Can't take a chance like that.

If you honestly think syrup is a form of medicine, you need to be in jail just so that society is not burdened with your stupidity.

Are you really this dumb?

Child has meningitis. Antibiotics will easily cure it. Vaccines would have prevented it, but it's too late for that, so they could have used antibiotics. Instead, they opt for maple syrup. And you chalk it up to "trying to treat with holistic medicine (which is mostly a bunch of horseshite, by the way).

What a stupid comparison. You should stop while you're behind.

No I don't think that you do. It was very much a malicious act. They had to know that if they didn't get that child treatment the chances were good that the child would die. Being willfully ignorant is NOT an excuse

No they let their child die.....of a completely treatable condition.

It's one thing to try and use holistic medicine first to see if that cold will go away....and when it gets worse you seek professional medical help. It's another to ignore that and continue to give your very sick child your "health supplements" that you try to peddle to others and make up claims that the stuff will cure other sick children.

And then beg for money from others off social media saying you didn't do anything wrong.

Seriously? On my phone, I just hold down the link until the basic info pops up. On the main site, I just hover over the link with my cursor. It's not rocket surgery.

I'm not talking about beating them to death. I'm talking about hitting them at all.

If parents aren't allowed to choose the risks of their child's health, why aren't vaccinations mandated by th state?

However, actual experts in Health Canada said the supplement actually contributed to the “worsening of psychiatric symptoms in those patients with serious underlying mental health problems, such as bipolar disorder and depression.”
