My wife and I brought our son to school clothes shop yesterday and I didn’t notice anything like that. Not saying your experience was invalid but I was actually surprised at how pleasant it was overall. I hadn’t been into the mall in probably 8 years - so perhaps my expectations were that it was going to be really bad.
I will say, I am not a fan of aggressive kiosk vendors which we seemed to be able to circumnavigate. But again, overall it wasn’t terrible, in my opinion.

Some folks have been programmed to hate everything that doesn’t fit their agenda or appearance even though it presents no threat at all. Pitiful.

Me and my friends used to ride our bikes there all the time. We never locked any of them up and none of them were ever stolen. It's sad how bad Baton Rouge is right now. It's depressing just to ride around where Cortana used to be

i go once or twice a year there, because that's where lush is and I don't like to order things like that in the mail, but that hasn't been my experience. there are some empty stores. but most of them were busy looking, and the crowd was mostly young couples and wine moms.

How far are you from Lake Side?

I went to the MoL last week and someone was being arrested for stealing
Which is not a bad thing, really
Except that’s happened the last few times I’ve gone.

I want to go back to when that Cortana Mall commercial was shot.
No, better yet, I want to go back to 1989 when I made it to the Nintendo championship at Bon Marche. I’ll undo all of the boobies, butts, and bushes I’ve touched to go back to the innocent time.

Secondly, I felt like I was in a foreign country. It was strange, full of foreigners, vast majority Hispanic, but lots of other nationalities
Back in my day we only had to worry about the blacks
