Would you have ripped the flag down if it were a Rising Sun flag (Japanese Imperial), USSR flag, British Flag (Union Jack), or "Black Power" flag? 1st Amendment...go read it. You don't have to agree with this person's views, but they have every right to their point of view.

As someone who has been shot at in defense of this country and who has lost friends in that same defense, I take personal offense at some of those things. However, I and my friends put our lives on the lines to protect the freedoms the Constitution provides even if that means idiots can fly flags of countries/entities that have tried to overthrow our government, burn the US flag, or protest the actions of our government.

TL/DR: You are just as much of an idiot as the person flying that flag.
