That sounds reasonable on the surface.
But in the moment, the hit-and-run guys are usually speeding off by the time you even realize what's happened. You're not even thinking about license numbers.

Reminds me of that bar Spanky's that was in Lakeview near where Parkway Tavern was..(Now The Bulldog) Was a great place to go till the city's douche bags starting showing up, then the place went to shite... Now the building is no longer in existence...

I've got bad news.... unless this person got the license plate number, the chances of catching this hit and run person is slim to none.
