Tips for making a bent bill flat

I have a hat that keeps bending on itself. I want it to be a flat bill. Tips? It is a Ekco brand if that matters.

Put it in a picket or tub of salt, totally cover it. Put a brick or something on the bill and leave it for 24 hours.
