They're not bad.

The FJ 16" is $170 per
The 4Runner 17" is $399 per(a little high)

Whatever you get, make sure they have a bit more offset. I bought the stock steelies off of the FJ, and they sit out about an inch from the Tacoma steelies.

I think the 17s leave enough tire as well.

I assumed you already had the factory TRD 16" wheels.

Firestone Destinatin A/T. Have had them on my Tacoma for about 45K now. Best A/T tire have seen to date.
You are welcome.

I'm also a big fan of the Stealth 6s (17") but decided I am keeping my stock 20"s

I can see why you want to update.

Also, at those prices for a set of factory wheels, I will no longer consider my snow belt cousins for running black steelies with their snow tires.

The Goodyear Wrangler AT's had a quiet tread with good all round traction. They lasted about 60,000 miles on my Silverado. The next set I got were BFG's which were more aggressive and a little better off road but really shitty on wet pavement and felt like they had much softer side walls. They were also more noisy and seemed to produce more slap sounds on highway expansion joints. They only lasted about 52,000 miles before they got dangerously slick. I went back to Good Year Wrangler AT's after that but I got them on a sale.

If the BFG AT's are too expensive, check out one of the Bridgestone Dueler AT products, Goodyear Wrangler AT, or the Firestone Destination AT.

i've had em on there since damn near new. That's why i got the stamped steel rims because i knew i'd be taking them off.

150,000 mile later i'm ready for something new. Don't want to put a lift on it either so my options are sort of limited.
