Time on Hold......Stressful?

I waited on hold 40 minutes today to get a warranty replacement battery for a power tool. I could feel my blood pressure elevating the longer it took.
My cable box in my bedroom is broken and I been putting off calling to avoid the same situation.
Anyone else feel the same way?

It all depends on the hold music. I was once on hold for 3.5 hours and the hold music was one Michael McDonald song on repeat.

I dont mind being on hold. My phone has this novel feature where I can put it down and get other shite done but still hear the call. They really ought to put it on all phones.

Yes. Few things are more annoying than being on hold.
Especially when the hold music is all loud and blown out and it gets interrupted every 20 seconds by a message reminding you that you wouldn’t be on hold right now if you just used the website ...which is a whole other cluster frick.

I'm on the other end of that line. The number of BS calls I get a day is insane.
There are a lot of people out there bored out of their minds who just want to randomly call and ask stupid questions just to pass the time.

the worst is places with hold music that keeps randomly cutting out then back in mid song...makes you think someone has answered when they haven't....it's fricking mental water torture
