I can get a chicken shawarma plate to go from Albasha for about the price of a Caniac.
You can get blackened chicken alfredo, a shrimp poboy and fries from the Chimes for that too. Just an example, there are a number of other places you can get restaurant food for close to those prices.

A caniac feeds two people. Canes prices aren't out of line with anywhere else. This thread, is retarded every time we have it, which is once a week

My wife and I split a chicken shawarma plate pretty often. It's a shite load of food. About $15 for takeout.

So it's exactly the same as a caniac. Yet your post infers that these are better deals

Rotisserie chicken is still 4.99 at Sam's.

Krispy Krunchy’s seasoning is good but overall quality is hit or miss depending on where you buy it. Which isn’t terribly surprising when you’re buying gas station chicken.
If I know we want fried chicken and there’s a KK nearby, I’ll get there at something like 10:55. That chicken is hot out the grease then, as is the fried okra.

It's much higher quality food.

That's completely subjective and that's fine. But you liking it better is completely irrelevant.

I love it. We get takeout from there pretty regularly. Reasonably healthy and delicious when we don't feel like cooking.

That’s good stuff

Baton Rouge may be lacking a lot in the food department (although in recent years it’s drastically improved), but I’ve never had better Lebanese food than Serops or Albasha.

Depends if you eat in the restaurant or not in Ohio

Splurge and go for the Albasha platter next time.

Albasha is a damn good deal in this day and age.
Mingo’s got a point about the Caniac being enough food for two people though.
