What a scumbag. Screw his restaurants and basketball team. I suspect he backtracks after he gets hammered by everyone. He showed his true colors though so he can go to hell.

I got a pretty similar email this morning and was less than thrilled. Big difference for me is that they are begging people to stay home if they think they’ve been exposed, yet came out and said we aren’t paying you. Anyone else see the issue with this? I guess it was nice that they said we could run through accrued pto first before they start hosing everyone.

This only applies to my employees. I already got paid for quarantine from home all last week

Dear Valued Team Member,

Golden Nugget Lake Charles Hotel and Casino has temporarily closed in compliance with the order by Governor John Bel Edwards. The closure was effective March 16, 2020 at midnight and Golden Nugget Lake Charles will remain closed for up to four weeks.

PTO hours will not be impacted and will be available upon return to work for furloughed employees.

It is our sincere hope that these changes will only be in place for a short period. We look forward to getting back to work soon with all our valued team members. We hope that everyone stays healthy and safe.
