I've tried Lowe's and Home Depot without much success. I know there are more but I just don't know the good ones. Any help is appreciated.

Pro Source has one of the largest selections of quality options. You may need a contractor reference to get in showroom.

I heard that before going there but was checking prices and availability after the flooding 2 years ago. They were reasonable with price and got me the material fairly quickly from what I was hearing about other stores.
Some of the salesmen seemed rude or inconvienced when customers were asking questions but the guy that helped me was easy to deal with. He even pulled some tile from another local dealer to get it to me the next day due to me underestimating what I needed.

Wholesale Flooring came out and gave us an estimate on installing tile. Picked the tile and paid the deposit. 2 weeks later, they tell us the tile is out of stock and back-ordered 8 weeks. I told them to just mail my deposit check back. A month goes by and no check. I go to the store and the guy at the counter tells me he won't refund my deposit because it was a special order. After explaining the tile was never ordered, the owner comes over holding an envelope. He rips it open and takes out my check telling me, "You're not getting my stamp and I should charge you for the estimate." I've used ProSource twice since and they were awesome.
