The government couldn't stand they didn't control the narrative.
All this makes me want to do is save my photos off of Facebook and Insta and say F off to Zuck and delete those.

It doesn’t technically have to go to a US country just one that isn’t our enemy.
People are exaggerating the whole freedom of speech with a tiktok run by communists that will censor anything bad about china and also basing it on one election with Trump running against the President who signed this bill into law (china and TikTok probably pushed Biden in 2020 when Trump went after China and tiktok then), or China has won the propaganda race easily due to already killing off brain cells of its users (another reason its not allowed in China). It’s ignorant to back China.
A bunch of people are going to think clearer and be happier in about a week of not having tiktok.

Tiktok has fried your brain.
I am not ignorant enough to use tiktok in the first place. I have never opened an account and block it on all my devices and Wi-Fi router along the TLD for China and for Russia along with anything else that I find out is linked to them.
I guarantee that MAGA content would flip tomorrow to being fake news the moment it serves China to knock down Trump a notch. Might have some mixed in already. Don’t be dependent on an algorithm from communist China and think it’s all accurate or will always be accurate.

It “could” work like that. This was a TikTok decision to completely pull the plug. It goes beyond the requirements of the ruling. They did it on purpose because they want to cause more outrage.
People are completely flipping out right now and you can see how many are legitimately addicted to TikTok

They know it makes it’s users betas and ignorant and can be a great propaganda machine for China while sowing discontent with its addicted US users. It already has people who hated China a year ago ready to pull a Kumala on the communist party lead and head of the govt the general secretary Xi Jinping all in the name of tiktok. Same person the world bent a knee to during covid.
Go catch up on news and history of China including buying dems from a source not controlled by China.
