It was blocked at my office about six months ago. I realized this and emailed the IT department and told them to make TD.com a safe site and to unblock it.

I received a response back a couple of hours later that said, "Done".

If you have google chrome go to settings then extensions and add UltraSurf extension. That should let you go to every site that is blocked. Your welcome

Maybe you should focus on your work while at work.

Go to the google translate website. (you have to go to the actual website through a link. Do not use the shortcut tool on the search page or this won't work)

Set it to translate from Spanish to English.

type in www.tigerdroppings.com. Click the link in the translated English box, and you now have access because it doesn't come up as tiger droppings, it comes up as a link you are viewing through google translate.

ETA: You can't sign in, I don't believe and sometimes it oddly translate random words, but at least you can view it.

Odds are they didn't manually block it, but use a service that categorizes all sites. If they are worth anything, any attempts to get around it would be blocked as well, or you might lose your job at some point trying to get around it

Quit stealing from your employer.
Use your phone instead.

I like letting my employees use there computers to do non work stuff like TD. That way I can monitor how much time they actually waste.

What if they have it open on an extra tab all day, but only check on it a couple of times? It would show them as being on all day, even though they really only spent a few minutes.

It's not 2000 where opening a second tab equated glacier like computing speed

Have Chicken write a note to your boss. That should do it.

Most Web traffic monitoring software accounts for that and only track what window or tab is active or in focus

Any good firewall can recognize and block Ultrasurf traffic.
