It really depends on where you go. As always, legal drinking on the streets and free shite usually brings out the dregs of a local society.

I don't really care for Mardi Gras. It's also a pain when you bring your kids. They get tired, hungry, and you have to worry about drunk d-bags.

If I'm by myself with friends, it's a little better, but I really can't stand events that are open to the public.

To be fair, the video of what most people were doing down there would be pretty boring. Mainly just some day drinking, people watching, catching a bead or two and enjoying their day.

Your loss. 2-3 videos of trash being trash isn't really indicative of the statewide (or region-wide) Mardi Gras experience.

Looks like this happened in the douche corridor between 1913 and Shitty Bar. Color me shocked.

He's trashy as frick. And BTW, you idiots who buy dress shirts and wear them untucked, look like total morons! Makes it worse if you're 5'6 and the shirt tails reach your knees.

I'm still surprised the Jersey Shore look is still popular.

Not really. I was in three different spots along the route for extended periods of time and didn't see anything even close to resembling violence or fighting. Just a bunch of people drinking and having a good time. Any time you have a huge cross-section of the population and public day-drinking (all day), you'll have an incident or two. Especially on 3rd street well after the parade.

Sorry you're a miserable fricking vagina with rarely anything positive to say about anything.

Baton Rouge isn't that bad and certainly not objectively as "bad" as you consistently make it sound.

Third Street looked like the towns of central, walker, and zachary had bombs blow up in them and all the residents landed at the parade. I felt like I was at a Westbank parade, especially 3rd street.

I saw a brawl of 10+ people and another altercation on 3rd street. I blame this partially on the police though. There is no police presence at all out there

Correct. Unless they're black. Then it tells us everything we need to know about black people and the degradation of all society.
