I loved them too until I saw my neighbors house burn down with the charlie brown lights on the tree when the weren't home in the 90's.

People were still using those back then.
If anything, turn those bitches off when you leave and or go to bed.

I'm pushing 70 and growing up for years we used the same tinsel year after year...And you placed them on the tree you did not throw them....We took them down and Mom would wrap them around some cardboard and place them in a box. Rinse and repeat the next year.
