And then what do they do, expell the kid? The kid today was expelled and still came back to shoot the place up.

Time to get some of those old school mental institutions up and running. If parents will forfeit their job, it needs to be done by someone with a syringe and a padded room down the hall.

THIS X1000000000

Also need metal detectors and armed security at all schools just like an airport.

For those saying that is cost prohibitive, the nation is already $20T in debt so the additional cost of the added security won’t matter at all.

Back when bullying was acceptable, nerds were too scared to shoot up the school

Mental evaluation. Possible commitment.

There are thousands of these kids that you're calling outcasts, loners, social freaks. There are multiple at every school in america. 99.99 percent of them don't hurt anybody.

I won’t deny that. But are you suggesting that what happened today is simply a byproduct of the system?

I'm not suggesting anything. I don't have a clue on this issue. It just doesn't seem that labeling every outcast as a potential threat would help. There must be some better indicator out there. Again, i don't have a clue on this issue.

I agree and just a general lack of morals in today's society.

I talked to the loners/weird people/cutters. While not a loner myself, i had common interests. Mostly music, movies, shite like that.

Mind your business bully.

It’s ok for y’all to bully kids until something like this happens and then it’s just prayers sent prayers sent.

I said it earlier and I’ll say it again...in a country the size of the US, things like this are going to happen. Only way to prevent it would be to eliminate a bunch of constitutional rights, not just gun laws. You don’t want government employed doctors giving mental evaluations to everyone. Unfortunately, this is just something we have to live with.

Because a 14-18 year old said something about another 14-18 year old?

I’m sure that won’t be abused.

Yeah, kids should decide which other kids have problems.

How could this possibly end bad.
