This Mardi Gras season was my 5th one since I've moved to the state. So far they've all been a blast. Something I haven't really seen much of have been older pictures of krewes like Bacchus and Endymion. I know they started the super krewe trend so it would be cool to see how their floats evolved through the late 60s through today. If any of you have any to share that would be great!

I had someone on a float accidentally throw me their disposable camera. it had a lot of pics of the family on the float and all that. Wish i still had the pics and could find out who they were, and solve the mystery.

Old pictures of Endymion & Bacchus are non sequitors.

They are newer krewes, Endymion first rolled in 1967 and Bacchus followed with its first parade in 1969.

Would pictures from the 70s not be “old pictures”?

Not to me, in the context of old pictures of Mardi Gras, I’d think a hundred years ago would be old.

A picture of an old iPhone could be eight or ten years old due to the context.

In 2000 would you have considered a picture from 1960 to be old? I know the 70s don’t seem “old” but 40 years ago is a long time.

Yeah but you're old. Aren't you like 40?

I think I said in my OP I know that they've been around for that long. Pictures from the 70s and 80s, even 90s would be old for me. It'd be nice to see how those krewes in particular evolved.
