Looking into moving to Tampa area in a year or so.

No kids but will be starting family soon. Wife and I both in medical field.

Anyone lived in the area? Like it? Hate it?

Ybor City is nice. But I haven't looked at it as a place to reside.

And Tampa does have Bern's Steakhouse ...

They have the most strip clubs per capita in the country. The Salvador Dali museum and Busch Gardens are both cool places to visit.

Salt Lake gets a terrible rap. Usually from people who have never spent considerable time there.

Love the area. A little bit south of there, Venice, Sarasota, Naples is great.

IMO, one of the most underrated cities in the US. Offers everything. The only con is sweltering heat in July and August.

It’s fine. The Robinson neighborhood is very overrated. Traffic can be awful.

When my husband got sober, we looked at Tampa and Asheville as possible new starts.

Asheville was nice. Tampa is fine.

I like the area, Orlando is a couple hours away, the beach is right there, pretty good golf.

Lots to recommend IMO.

Love it.
