The term "climate change" is an oxymoron.
Climate science/climatology is a valid science, unfortunately it's been taken over by leftist loons who push doomsday scenarios and just flat out lies.
And thus, that makes this one of the biggest hoaxes ever put on upon mankind
This. We know the science is either poorly interpreted or purposely misconstrued because the wide miss on predictions. Summer sea ice in the Arctic Sea was supposed to be completely gone by 2016, the glaciers in Glacier National Park were supposed to be gone by 2020 and NYC would be underwater as early as 2015. None of those have happened, either the rate was drastically exaggerated on purpose (fear to gain attention to drive funding) or ignorance (fear porn).
We're still far cooler than a lot of Earth's history.

Notice the average? That was right as we were coming out of the LIA (Little Ice Age, from 1300-1850). Funny how the coldest period since constant record-keeping began is set as the "norm".

The earth is still far cooler than it's average.
As to the CO2 argument... CO2 can trap heat but there's a diminishing return as concentrations increase. In other words, the jump in temperature going from 200ppm to 400ppm is going to be greater than the jump in temperature if CO2 went from 400ppm to 600ppm. The temperature would still go up, but at maybe half the rate and that's going to be a VERY rough estimate as it takes only the CO2 increase into account. This means it leaves out solar cycles, other gasses, etc.
An interesting side-note to the CO2 discussion is that the general ideal level for plants (trees, grasses, fruit-bearing, etc) is anywhere from 600ppm-1000ppm. Having been below 300ppm for so long was basically having plants spend their lives starving. Humans can operate normally up to ~700ppm-800ppm (which is where you start to see cognitive decline, depending on physiology). More CO2 helps plants not only grow bigger and faster, but it also causes them to bear more fruit. If temperatures rise slightly, that puts more water vapor in the atmosphere and extends growing seasons.
At least at this stage, the increase in CO2 as well as any increase in temperature is a boon to humanity, not a danger.

Are we denying that climate change is happening at all or just denying that it’s man made?
I am denying that it is the impending catastrophe that Greta and the loons claim.
However, global warming is happening (at an incredibly small rate), rising sea levels are an issue, but only near the equator (centrifugal force), and man does have a VERY small role to play.
As someone mentioned above,
it is a money grab, AND a means of control.

It's hard to have an intellectually honest conversation about climate science unless you also talk about the effects of Geoengineering.

Your first issue is that you're calling it a 'science.'
Remember, astrology and alchemy were once considered 'science.'
Ergo!

Climate science is Marxism with a mask on.
Just about everyone of the phucking 'scientist' who is a climate scientist majored in 'Earth Science '.
Check how many took several classes in calculus, physics or thermodynamics and you will realize that they are hucksters and carnival barkers.

It has always been a tactic for progressives to use their allies in the media to scare laypeople and extract money, power and influence at taxpayer expense.
Their data is manipulated, their models are embarrassingly bad (as in completely unusable shite that no legitimate STEMer would ever rely upon), and the entire operation was, just like Covid, 100% contrived by grifters, liars, and progressive vote influencers to arrive at a predetermined conclusion.
That's not science, it's medieval hackery.

One good super volcano eruption would mess with their numbers and minds.

No.
It does not.

The Permian-Triassic Mass Extinction event for a start
Did you read your own link?
A spike to over 2500 ppm. That CO2 spike was a result of the event that caused the extinction event...it was not the cause itself.
Edit: though a spike to levels that high would cause mass deaths, it would take much more than we little peons could do.
