I don’t loan my ski gear out
We do trade kids stuff because they can rarely wear it more than once

This wouldn't concern me. However, the fact that items came back without some herb or gummy bears in the pocket would be a little disappointing.

Ask to borrow a pen. Give it back to him with a bunch of your pubes on it.

Both shitty and trashy. Co-worker is poor.

Loaning out ski clothes is the most southern thing ever. Didn't realize that was a thing until I did it this year.
I'm cool doing it, but it's so easy to order good clearance gear online for a few hundred bucks, which pales in comparison to the cost of a ski trip nowadays. Good gear should last at least a decade.

yeah, it's a shitty move if he didn't even clean them before he returned them....but also not something worth making a huge deal over and screwing up the workplace dynamic.

Yeah, I'm not making a big deal out it. My reaction was just "Really...?" You couldn't take the time to clean the clothes?
I agree with you all that suggested not loaning out anything else again.

What you have to do is cut the hamstring on the back of his leg near the bottom,no more skiing,no more loaned clothes..

They should have had them cleaned before returning to you. I wouldn’t be loaning anything to them again.
