As a school teacher, I brainwash America’s children.
I love it because I get 3 months off a year and get paid while I’m at the house. The money could be better, but it’s hard to beat the time off.
It also helps that I’m a good teacher and don’t hate children.

Oral Surgeon. I work 3 days a week. I only do the procedures I want to do. I don’t deal with hospitals or have call. 100% private practice bliss.

Broad strokes here, but business affairs and management/representation in entertainment.
I took a career aptitude test right out of college and this is generally what it recommended I do. Its what I would do if I didn’t need to work for money, but ageism is real and there may come a point that I’ll be an irrelevant dinosaur who finds himself unemployed and forced to do lemon party porn to support my family.

I loved my job. I can't tell you what I did because I'm suing my employer for taking it away from me. For the at least one guy that works there, lurks here, and knows me, shhhh.

I think so much of it has to do with your boss, how you’re treated, and other items out of your control. And of course salary.
I could deliver pizzas for 150k a year and I’m sure I’d be pretty satisfied.

What does any of this mean?

Partner in a Wealth Management firm. Love my job, started out as a "Stock Broker" 30+ years ago. Worked hard, gave good service and advice to my clients and built my book along the way.
Left Wells Fargo Advisors 4 or 5 years ago to start my own firm. My sales assistant of 20 years came with me. I manage ~ $150 million give or take.
Keeps us busy but I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want to do. Sunday afternoon, I'm ready to go to work Monday morning!

I love my job. but, haven't always loved the place I worked or the people. Last 5 years have been great in that regard.
