I'm quite positive that his court appointed attorney would welcome any help with a decent defense that you could give.
He swore an oath to zealously defend even this guy. If the armed robber wants to go to trial, this attorney will have a tough time presenting a reasonable defense, without sounding full of shite. Will that be his fault though?
