What research qualifies someone to speak on this? You're getting emotional about this and it's blinding you to facts. If you really want change (and I have to think that you do) then you need to do some honest investigation and accept what you find. You can't solve a problem like the one we have by seeking sympathy. We need actual effective reform not outrage.

Are you trying to compare la cosa nostra violence to black inner-city violence? 1) Blacks kill more blacks in one year than the mob did since it arrived from the old country. 2) when this kind of stuff was actually happening, Italians weren't considered white.
Do you actually think blacks talk to police anywhere near the same rate as whites?

You are to simple minded to see the point I am making. Crime happens within all races. That crime usually leads to people not volunteering information to the police. People do not cooperate with the police becasuse they do not want to get other blacks, whites or etc in trouble. They don't cooperate because they fear retaliation.
