Ya I have watched all 6! I don't understand how people in that community can just sit by and watch it happen but that seems to be what most of them do....its very sad knowing those kids have zero hope.

Lol.

My mom taught special ed for 25 years. They lump the kids with learning disabilities with the kids that have behavioral problems. How is a teacher supposed to teach kids that truly want to learn and truly need the help when someones little bastard is running around biting people and throwing chairs?

This is also TRUE!!!!

I will say this though, the teachers have ALL of the power! If they were ALL to go on strike nationwide the first week of school next year what other choice would the schools have than to give them ANYTHING they wanted?? I mean literally ANYTHING!!!!

Are you kidding? My Aunt has been a teacher for 32 years and she has told me that every year they have less and less authority to do anything to deal with disruptive and sometimes even dangerous kids. She can't even raise her voice to them anymore because her luney tunes principal has decided that the reason that they have such a behavioral problem is that they are not getting enough positive reinforcement in the classroom. That's not to say that positive reinforcement doesn't work or that constantly yelling at kids isn't counter productive, but there is only so much you can do when Little Jimmy refuses to cease his conversation with his friend and calls her beaked nosed whore after the 3rd time she has told him to quiet down.

The parents don't give 2 shits when their kids get into fights twice a week or when you tell them that they refuse to do ANY work in or out of the classroom, but try suspending them or even suggest anything to them to help solve the problem and you are all of the sudden an incompetent buffoon who has no business being a teacher. She has tried pressing the issue with the school administration and even the school board, but after a while they started labeling her a "trouble maker".

She has accepted a teaching job at a private school for next fall, something she has sworn that she would never do because she has always felt like the kids who really needed her help were in the public schools. Without the administrative support to maintain discipline and order so that she can do her job it is just too stressful for her to continue.

I am not kidding and you must not have read all of my post where I said EVERY teacher needs to go on strike in the middle of the school year until they get what they want. Its not like parents and the district is just gonna let school stop....they will give in as long as ALL teachers walk out.

Once again, ALL teachers need to say no to this behavior. If they did and all were willing to walk out what could the schools possibly do? They are not just gonna let all kids get zero education for a few years.

I don't blame her but if ALL teachers joined together like 2 weeks into the semester the schools would HAVE to do something.

The only way to fix this is to get all teachers on board and thats what they would do if they actually gave a shite about the kids. They really do hold all of the power if they ganged up!

I teach in a high school and the OP is correct it is almost impossible to expell a special ed. Student. For extreme cases we let the police handle it. The student hits, kicks, bites, ect... and we call the police and press charges.
The police will take the child to jail and the parent can pick them up from there.

When the parent sees the child will get arrested with every violent occurrence they homeschool the student.

We only do this for extreme cases not every time a incident occurs. We have done it twice in the last 10 years. Worked perfectly.

So you are one of them now! Just go watch any ghetto school problem or any worldstar video and over 90% of the time they yell out rap lyrics before the kids act up.. i would never be against banning music so let it free, I guess they make more in a week at he club without staying in trouble!

fricking white kids listening to drake

Growing up it was always the stupid hood guys causing issues black or white and the rednecks wearing cowboy boots to school

Kids are like this now b/c their parents don't hit them.

Of course they do, they just don't feel the need to act out on it because they have WAY more options growing up.

With a pencil, and he was sexually harassing her, little different between that and aggravating.

Don't think that was one of the worst incidents.

Wow this video legit makes me wanna cry so sad for these kids.

Feel so bad for Spanky, don't know why he's at the school, seems like he's the one taking all the grief and has a really fricked up homelife. Still seems like a good kid though.

Sorry but I totally disagree with this. I teach middle school and the kids I teach listen primarily to rap. They are seriously influenced by the anti-authority, just out to have a good time, thug life mentality. I have a girl in my class who has repeatedly threatened to kill a teacher and even had a list in her notebook of people she wants to kill, yet she remains in school so that the schools SPS score won't suffer. These kids have no regard for the consequences of their actions, primarily because they HAVE no consequences for their actions. They do whatever they want because they know there will be no punishment. The majority of the parents are "enablers" who blame the school and the teachers. It amazes me how many parents have told me, after their child is in danger of failing math, that "Oh, I wasn't good at math, either" like it's no big deal. Most kids celebrate when they make a C (or even a D) on a test. If they fail they say, "Why did you GIVE me an F?"

There are a million reasons why the schools are failing us but the big reason is we are failing our kids. THE KID SHOULD NEVER BE THE BOSS.

So many parents bending to the child's demands. I see it from the lunch that is packed to the test scores to the attitudes of BOTH parents and children.
