Shooting occurs. Police arrive. Witnesses cooperate. Thug arrested. Profit!!!

quote:

A Baton Rouge man was arrested Tuesday in a June 7 incident in which he and three others are accused of firing off approximately 63 shots Kentucky Street, according to Baton Rouge police report. No one was injured, but police say Kendrick Dinon Wilson Jr., 19, approached two people under a carport at 2055 Kentucky Street and fired an assault-style weapon at them, police said.

One victim told police that after Wilson fired his weapon, three others starting firing their weapons at the two victims, who were able to flee the scene unharmed.

Officers were initially alerted to the incident after Shot Spotter technology reported that approximately 63 rounds were fired at that location, according to Wilson's arrest report. One victim recognized Wilson and reported his name to investigators.

Hopefully the witness won’t change his story at trial.

Won't be good for him on the streets if he sticks with the story.

I'm sure Gravy will still complain about something though.

I saw these things on telephone posts doing a section 8 job off of Roosevelt St and asked someone what it was. They told me it alerts police when gunshots go off. I thought they were fricking with me

I bet I could guess the race of the shooter.

Sounds like this Wilson kid spends a lot of time at the riffle range perfecting his shooting.

If the police were not out trying to stop Gary Chambers this wouldn't have happened.

Well they said “assault style weapon” so I’m assuming it was one of those air soft guns that looks like an M4.

They can be scary accurate too. I was talking to one of my buddies in BRPD the other day and he said they will receive shot spotter calls and given an "approximate" location, they'll accidentally roll their patrol car over bullet casings in front of the house the system guessed the shots were fired from. Crazy stuff.

I have heard this was a true semi-auto rifle. They chased this fricker for hours before calling off the search.

Great job to the witness who named the fricker. We need more of that kind of bravery
